Rural Technical Committee

The Rural Technical Committee is composed of individuals with technical knowledge in transportation and land use matters.  The Committee includes voting members from each of the five counties that are located within the Thomas Jefferson Planning District, along with members from VDOT, DRPT, RideShare, and JAUNT.  These representatives provide technical review, comments, and recommendations on transportation plans, programs, studies, and other appropriate documents.  The group focuses primarily on regional transportation issues in the rural portions of the Planning District.
