Citizens' Committee (CHART)

The MPO Citizens' (CHART) Committee acts in an advisory capacity in the development of transportation plans. This Committee evaluates plan progress and recommends amendments and updated project descriptions. The Citizens' Committee presents plan updates and recommendations for plan amendments to MPO Technical Committee for endorsement and approval by MPO Policy Board. Made of members of the public, this Committee is appointed by localities and the MPO Policy Board. The Committee meets regularly to review and develop plans, and also assists in organizing and managing public meetings and comments. Currently, the Citizens' Committee is overseeing development of the CHART (or urban area sections) of the UnJAM 2025 Plan, and has been facilitating the UnJAM workshops.
