Work on the Palmyra Community Plan began with the first community planning session on June 29. The standing-room-only crowd met at the Palmyra United Methodist Church. Local residents identified key issues and marked up maps to record their recommendations. Key themes were preserving the historic character of the village and making it pedestrian and bicycle-friendly. For more information, contact Billie Campbell at 979-7310 x230 or .
