Letter from the Director
The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission is pleased to present a summary of our activities and projects during the 2009 Fiscal Year (July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009). This year's report is designed to showcase accomplishments on behalf of our member localities. We are proud of the work we do for each of our six member localities. Many of the things we do on an annual basis for the local jurisdictions take place “under the radar,” even though these activities represent some of our best work.
The highlight bar above provides quick links to the contents of the Annual Report. A drop down menu under Local Efforts on the highlight bar will take you to reports on some of our activities in each of the six member localities this year. Regional News and Efforts, Financial Information, Sustainability Accords, and Commissioners and Staff will take you to overall information on TJPDC. In addition to the specific information on activities for our member localities this year, the list below identifies other things that we have done for local governments in the past.
I want to encourage you take a few minutes to explore and learn about TJPDC activities for each of our member localities. We appreciate the opportunity we have to serve each of our member governments and are working to make the 2010 Fiscal Year our best year yet.
Sincerely,
Steve Williams,
Executive Director
