The Cville Bike mApp project is a regional bike mapping project developed by the Charlottesville-Albemarle Metropolitan Planning Organization, in partnership with BikeCharlottesville, the City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and the University of Virginia. It will allow transportation planners to better understand how cyclists use the current transportation system. Cyclists will use the App to map their ride and then upload the data. Staff will use the uploaded data for mapping to determine, key cycling corridors, barriers and routes. The MPO, along with its partners, will kick-off using the app on April 14th and plans to wrap up the recording period on May 18th, the close of national bike week.

Building a More Bikable Charlottesville! (Take the Survey)

The Charlottesville-Albemarle MPO is launching a online survey to build a more bikable Charlottesville. This survey is meant to supplement the information gathered during the Cville Bike mApp project. We need to gather as much input as possible so please participate. The survey is ten questions and should take less than a minute to complete. We cannot build a more bikable Charlottesville without your help so please send us your input.
