Piedmont Crossroads Visitors Center at Zion Crossroads marked its first anniversary on Thursday, August 28. The Visitors Center is situated on the first floor level of Best Western Crossroads Inn and Suites at Zion Crossroads. Hundreds of visitors have made their way to the center in the last year to be greeted by tourism counselors and learn about the extensive tourism opportunities including fishing on the James River in Fluvanna and boating on Lake Anna. Due to its proximity to I-64 and Rt. 15, the Center has attracted more visitors through its doors than others similar facilities. Tourists have arrived from 49 states and dozens of foreign nations, and the response to the center has been overwhelmingly positive. |
