The PWN Council and Board met June 22. Todd Palmquist, PWN Director, will update the Commission on PWN activities, and answer questions.

Senate Bill 699                                          (Harrison Rue)                            8:20 – 8:35

The General Assembly recently passed SB699, which requires that comprehensive plans, amendments, rezonings, and developments be submitted to VDOT for review and comment. HOME Consortium Amendment              (Billie Campbell)                         8:35 – 8:45

HUD has informed the TJPDC that the Consortium Agreement must be modified to include all incorporated towns in the consortium per HUD Notice CPD 06-04 issued April 11, 2006. Click here for amendment.

The Virginia Sustainable Building Network (VSBN) recognized the Thomas Jefferson Region as the Most Sustainable Community in Virginia by at their annual meeting June 9.
