VDOT Unifying the System Investment Process (USIP)

VDOT is in the process of unifying the process for updating the State Transportation Improvement Plan (STIP), Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) and the Six Year Plan (SYP).  John Giometti will provide the Committee with a summary of the proposed USIP and how this will affect the MPO’s process for developing the FY09 TIP.

MPO staff will share draft documents with the Committee and solicit feedback in preparation for formally launching the UnJAM 2035 Public Involvement process

MPO Bike and Pedestrian Projects Inventory

The Community Mobility Committee has compiled a comprehensive list of proposed bike and pedestrian projects in the MPO and rural Albemarle from existing local and regional bike and pedestrian planning documents.  The Committee will review the inventory and accompanying maps and suggest how to incorporate the documents into UnJAM 2035
